I put this post together probably close to two years ago, but saved it as a draft and never published it. While preparing the Daily Radio Bible blog for tomorrow, I remembered this. Both have to do with Focus. Keeping focused is something that I find difficult. My sidelines seem strewn with abandon projects and hopes. I still struggle to shut out the noise, so that I can hear The Voice that matters most. But when I let God help me do that, His Word is a balm to my soul.
Why is focusing so hard? Why do I often feel distracted and unfocused? Maybe I'm not prioritizing You, and the Word you have spoken to me. I'm listening to too many other voices and opinions.
And the one that matters most, that still small Voice, is getting crowded out in the din.

the place where You are, where You are working.

I think especially as a photographer of how you must select your focal point, sometimes zoom in on it. May we fine tune our audio focus and laser beam our visual one! Great post and reminder as more and more competes for that center spot that only One is truly worthy of! Onward, dear sister!
